Therefore we would like to bring you something to help you remember your visit, hopefully to make you visit again. ROSIM Systems is situated right on the very edge of one of the U.K’s most popular National Parks, the Peak District. Although millions of people live and work around the Peak District in the great industrial conurbations of the north of England, in it you can find peace and quiet in one of the planet’s areas of outstanding natural beauty. So we thought we would like to give a piece of it to you, in the form of a picture, which we will change once a month. Castleton is a popular destination for day trippers from Sheffield to the east and Manchester to the west - two great industrial cities of the north of England. As well as its caverns and 'hostelries' Castleton is famous for 'Blue John' a distinctive purple and yellow banded variety ot fluorspar which is made into jewelry and other decorative items. Castleton is now a genteel sleepy place but, as its name suggests, is named after its castle, Peveril Castle, built in the eleventh century by one of William the Conqueror's more nasty henchmen.
